I hope you are all doing well!
This week, I finally started my wild flower series that I have been planning since last December. Planning Anne had this scheduled for January, but hum, well, things took a bit longer than I had anticipated, and that’s okay! I realized this week that there is no rush. I can take my time and do things properly. It is easy for me to fall into a productivity craze and to forget to that I am one person, doing a one person job. So, I’m taking my time on my first wild flower (the lovely violet) and experimenting with backgrounds and mixed techniques. It is fun… and also very scary and unsettling. In any case, it is a very interesting process, and I’ll share it with you when it’ll be more advanced!
In other news, I also finally received new notebooks for the shop! There was an error in the order (🙄🙄🙄), so I’m still waiting for the Lady Tiger model, but two models are up and ready to be taken home. I hope you’ll take a look and tell me what you think.
I’ve also been in a complete “Neil Gaiman Fan” mood, and I’ve read Stardust, Coraline and the View from the Cheap Seats this week. I’ve just received Anansi Boys (it’s still cold from outside, hihi) and the Graveyard Book which I’ll be starting tonight. It’s really fun to explore an author like this.
That’s it!
Until next week,
Take care 🧡🧡🧡

Yup, Neil Gaiman again. Soooo not sorry 🙂

L’Atelier
Large notebooks have hit the store! You can choose between lined, dotted/bullet and blank pages. I hope you find something you’ll like!
These are wonderful if you are looking for a journal, a bullet journal or a sketchbook!
A small treat…
I started my day with this video, and enjoyed it so much. Then it became a bit weird when I saw that the lady was also named Ann and was a botanical painter who did THE botanical course I’ve been eyeing since I started painting… I’m taking this as a vision into a possible future! In any case, it is such a lovely garden and relaxing video 🙂
