I hope you are all doing well!

What a busy week! I worked hard on this Fall painting, and I’m very happy it’s done! Some paintings are fun to paint, but even more fun to finish! I particularly enjoyed painting the rowan berries. The pumpkin was particularly intimidating, and I painted most of the little treasures around it before tackling it. It was very interesting to paint this fruit as it is quite different from flowers or leaves.

After the painting was finished, I added the lettering, and of course, had an accident while erasing my pencil lines. I panicked a bit, but I was able to fix it. Can you find it on the picture? I hope not! I really need to be more careful with erasing and respect the paint’s drying time!

More details in my portfolio!

Outside the atelier, our garden hibiscus is finally in flower! It’s such a long wait! But what magnificent flowers. I’ll take better pictures when it stops raining. I was quite surprised to know that some hibiscus can be planted in the garden and survive the Canadian winter. It’s very impressive and wonderful!

New in store

So many exciting things at the boutique this week! I’m very happy to expend my offer a bit with

A small treat…

I stumbled upon this Vietnamese artist, Nguyễn Thanh Nhàn, and I fell in love with his work. His website is stunning, and you should definitively go check it out!

And may I recommend this song as you browse Than’s work?
